Waka, Waka!!

Exams for semester 1 are all finished, semester 2 has started up, so we will continue with our planning and registration for the South Africa trip.  

A couple of notes from Explorica: 

• The free insurance sign up incentive was finished at the end of December, however, there is a $100 incentive currently in place until March 31, 2012.  Use the code 100spring13
• There was a $67 reduction in the flight costs to our trip (every little bit helps), however, this is a fluctuating cost and it could go up at a later time.  

We are having a student meeting on Friday, February 3, 2012 @ noon in the computer lab.  We will discuss continued registration, CTS Credits and Funding, Student Responsibilities, and give an overview of the tour.  As usual, any and all parents are welcome to attend this meeting.

We would like to continue signing up interested travelers before the end of the 2011 calendar year.  This will save you money in two ways: Free travel insurance and your price will be set against price increases from Explorica (note: airlines may increase their Airline Fuel Surcharge with will be passed along to travelers)

We have received enough feedback from our travel group to start the registration process for South Africa 2013, 

If you are ready to sign up go to: explorica.ca, go to the student or parent pull down menu and enter sign up.

Make sure you read through the payment options.

We do still need to get Chinook's Edge School Division approval, however, we do have an agreement with Explorica that in the event that there is no approval, Explorica will refund all money and/or provide services for another trip that is comparable.
